The Priority School Building programme was launched in 2011 and has been centrally procured by the EFA on behalf of the Department for Education. 261 schools have been rebuilt and or renovated under the programme.

BWB were appointed as lead civil and structural engineers on the Coventry (Midlands 1) and East of England batch of schools. The Midlands 1 batch is the first of the £2.5bn capital funded programme to open to staff and pupils and it is often referred to as an excellent example of how quality educational facilities can be delivered under tight budgetary and programme controls.

BWB has helped to deliver buildings that that give teachers, students and their local communities' access to better education and high spec facilities along with creating high quality light, warm and airy classrooms appropriate for modern teaching.
