Bucking the trend at the time of selling out to larger practices, one of the key drivers to the MBO was to preserve the culture and reputation that management had worked so hard to create. Today we are still immensely proud that BWB is one of the largest owner managed consultants in the UK.

Project update - Phase 1 Completed of Logistics North

BWB are delighted to announce that Phase 1 of the Logistics North business park has just been successfully completed. The 250-acre site near Bolton is one of the largest logistics developments in the north of England and BWB has been heavily involved since the early stages.

BWB are delighted that recent press releases confirm the intention for HSBC to relocate part of their headquarters from London to Arena Central in Birmingham. As reported in the press Arena Central Developments llp, the joint venture company behind the Arena Central Development in Broad Street, has sealed what is said to be the biggest Birmingham property deal at 210,000 sq ft since 2002 which is fantastic news for Birmingham.

BWB Submit Interest in EU SUDS Innovation Project

Build Earth Live - Year 10 and 13 pupils take on the professionals

On the 16th March 2015, 6 teams of industry professionals took part in BIM4SME's Build Earth Live, a 48 hour BIM design competition. This competition saw the teams, made up of individuals from 51 organisations from across the construction industry, battle it out over 2 days to transform a disused Newcastle quayside in to a state of the art Digital Innovation Centre! 

One of these teams however was a little different! Put together by ‘Class of Your Own’ - an organisation bringing design engineering and construction to schools, the team was made up of year 10 & 13 students from Wallacre Academy in Manchester. This team supported by the school’s DEC teacher - Miss Brunning, Jon Frost - BWB's BIM leader and Jonathan Munkley - WYG's BIM Director, took on the professionals!
