Overwhelming Response to FLOODSCREEN

BWB recently launched our free online flood screening tool demonstrating BWB’s progression into the World of Big Data, GIS, Web-Apps and Cloud Computing.

We are delighted that FloodScreen has been met with an extremely positive response.

In just 3 days after its launch, almost 7,000 people have seen @FloodScreen and we would like to thank all of you for the great feedback we have received, especially the interactions and suggestions made by significant contributors in the flooding, GIS and data specialisms.

Project Update: Construction to begin at newly remediated Selly Oak site

Construction work at the former Battery site in Selly Oak, Birmingham, is expected to start in the coming weeks, once the land remediation that had begun in summer 2014 is completed.
